The price for your private move is calculated individually and depends on four factors: the moving volume (furniture and boxes), the distance between the old and new address – whether within a city, across Germany or across Europe , the access situation (floor, lift or stairwell) and any requested extras such as furniture assembly, packing service or a no-parking zone. After a free survey – on site or virtually by video – you receive a binding fixed-price quote with no hidden costs.
Do you also offer private moves across Germany and Europe?
Yes. Alongside moves within Berlin, we carry out private moves across Germany and Europe – for example on routes such as Berlin–Munich or Berlin–Hamburg, as well as to other European countries (incl. Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands). Our Berlin location serves as a central hub; we plan packing, transport and, on request, the customs handling entirely for you.
How quickly do I get a fixed-price quote for my private move?
You usually receive your non-binding fixed-price quote. For scheduling, we recommend booking your private move 2 to 4 weeks in advance – especially at month-end and in the summer months, dates fill up quickly. Short-notice moves are also possible subject to availability.
Are my belongings insured during the private move?
Ask about the applicable liability terms and any additional transport cover before booking. Identify valuable or delicate items so packing and handling can be agreed for your inventory.
Do you handle packing, furniture assembly and the furniture lift?
Yes. On request we handle the full service: high-quality moving materials, packing and unpacking your boxes, the dis- and re-assembly of your furniture, and the use of our own furniture lift for heavy items from upper floors (use where access and setup are suitable). That keeps your private move completely stress-free.
Do you bill citizens’-benefit moves directly with the job centre?
We prepare an itemised quote for your responsible office to assess. The office decides approval and eligible costs. Any direct-billing arrangement must be confirmed separately.
Do you offer senior moves with care-fund billing?
Yes. We support senior moves with particular patience and care – from packing and transport to furniture assembly. In the case of care needs, a care-fund subsidy of up to €4,180 is possible; on request we handle the direct billing.
Do you also carry out armed-forces moves under the BUKG?

Yes, on request we apply for the official no-parking zone in front of your old and new address and put up the traffic signs – in Berlin and, on request, across Germany.
